Treating varicose veins with radio wave, radiofrequency, high frequency...

... this refers to thermal procedures for vein treatment. The intention is to alter the inner layer of the vein and slightly shrink the muscle layer. If successful, the vein closes until, after a few weeks, only an imperceptible small strand of connective tissue remains. This is much more favorable for the organism than the scarring after a stripping operation. The goal is achieved either by a pure heat source, such as with ClosureFast or Venefit®, or by a heat effect generated in the tissue, such as CELON-RFITT or F-Care. ClosureFast is the most common system; the F-Care system is the newest and most cost-effective. This allows varicose veins to be treated effectively. It is also very helpful in combating spider veins.

The commonly used anesthesia strategy is called "tumescence" and requires 500 to 800 ml of anesthetic fluid. In our practice, according to the angioclinic® methods, we use the patented CPLA system, which achieves significantly better anesthesia and increased treatment precision with much smaller amounts of anesthetic. As with all angioclinic® methods, special optical control (ultrasound) is added, resulting in a particularly safe and comfortable application.
