Dr. med. Oana-Raluca Despa

I completed my medical studies in 2003 at the renowned University of Vienna. After basic general surgical training in Vienna, I moved to Germany in 2006, where I initially dedicated myself passionately to cardiac surgery. Among other roles, I worked as an assistant physician in the Clinic for Cardiac, Thoracic, and Vascular Surgery at the German Heart Center Berlin.

Since 2009, vascular surgery has been the focus of my professional life. After passing my specialist examination, I worked as a senior physician in vascular surgery until 2014. In the same year, I decided to expand my almost purely classical surgical spectrum to include endovenous therapies.

At Dr. Ragg's practice, I now have the opportunity to apply my skills in both minimally invasive endovascular and surgical procedures. This allows for an individually tailored, optimal therapy concept for each patient, also considering insurance benefits.
